Phunnel Introduction

Recommended Posts

I have a friend who works in stoneware. I asked her to make me a phunnel but wide and shallow. I asked her to make 10 more and maybe someone would buy one.So if you want one let me know.$18 she picks the glaze $20 for custom glaze blue,turquoise,green,brown,black,white..and more.

looks like a stumpy alien, really pretty tho and i love the glaze. i'm a little short on cash at the moment, but if you still have some in a week or so i'll probably pick one up (i doubt you will, i'm sure they'll go fast)

you get a chance to take it for a run yet?

yep. smokes great. it takes a little while to get rolling because its solid. 2 coco's and a windcover but heat management is a no brainer. smoked for 90 mins. also works with one 3k quicklight.

Interesting. I don't think I want one, as it looks to take on more after the Alien (which I'm not really a fan of) instead of a Tangiers phunnel (which is deeper and in my personal opinion smokes better). But it sure is pretty and the shortness is really unique. I shall call it "The Stubby."

Wow you guys make me feel like such a noob :| is that some kind of a different bowl? how do you pack it?

Not really a different kind of bowl but a re-tooling of one. The Tang bowls are deep and tall. Even the small holds alot of tobacco. I have a QT so i wanted a bowl that would hold less for shorter sessions and would have a lower profile for the smaller qt. I put two pinches about 5-10 grams around the hole and foil. this is one solid piece of stoneware. it can go from the freezer to 1500 degrees without breaking not that you would free or bake it.
