My 1988 Crx

Recommended Posts

Guys, I know I haven't posted here in a long while, but I thought I would share my happiness with my hookah family.

I bought it Wednesday. It has a gas-saving engine and transmission as well as a 480-watt amp pushing a sub with two 12" speakers. With a new paint job and custom seats, this car is the ultimate driving experience. Fuel economy, not performance, is this car's big statement,

I present to you, my dream car: 2nd generation Honda CRX. (1988 DX)

And here I am enjoying two of my favorite things at the same time:

Thanks.
Those cabinets used to be in the kitchen. The previous home owner replaced them with newer ones and put the old ones in the garage. I also have a full counter top as well as an additional set of cabinets for all my hookah stuff. It works out really well.

I'm smoking Tangiers caffeinated Kashmir Cherry on a Blue hookah with Fumari coals and a Nammor hose. (Eric, thanks for the tobacco)

Thanks, you guys.
Yeah I sure do love my Nour.
It gets 40 mpg without even trying. When I'm done with the mechanical work, it will get about 50 mpg.
And these CR-X's are not as rare as most people think. Just check all the Craigslist posts within a 200-mile radius like I did and one will be fairly easy to find eventually. :-)

Yes, I also like the Talon. Slick-looking ride, for sure. That "TALON" right accross the back looks so sweet. If they didn't get such horrible gas mileage for their size, I would have gotten one of those.

I get 24mpg in my tsiawd talon, but I am heavily modified. An esi (420a motor) will get ~30mpg, but its NA and therefore a shitty car. :P

Looks badass!

Thanks.
Today, a buddy of mine got the A/C working good and now I have that. Also, I calculated 42.6 mpg today. With all that and some bumping tunes combined with a hookah, this IS the ULTIMATE experience. B)
