Good thing it's not true?

Scratch that, apparently this is also not true - wishful thinking I guess. :/

Well which is it, is he dead or alive?! If he's dead, then I'm a sad panda... Haggard is my favorite thing he was in:

Probably one of the best movies I own on DVD.

im sorry, but i cant really feel that bad, dude had a BAC of .196 and was driving 140mph on a backroad..i mean sure he was funny, but at that point its your own damn fault

I think no one is contesting the fact that it was his fault. A loss is nevertheless a loss.

A .2 BAC
A car that is a total pig-unpredictable, ass-loads of oversteer, and once it breaks lose, it's gone)
rural county road lined with lots of trees, and no ditch to speak of.
early morning after zero sleep
speed that leaves him over-driving the headlights by nearly 300 yds.

Nothing to be sad over, it's simply a jackass trying hard to get killed, then actually succeeding ---- Or more to the point, Darwin in action.

I love how everyone is like. blah blah blah serves him right. If your mom died in a car crash because she was drunk it would still be sad. So stop blabing about how he asked for it. A death is a death. A loss is a loss. No matter how you look at it.

I feel very little pity for someone who not only drives recklessly and under the influence, but is also the cause of death for someone else's life (there was a passenger.) After his first several crashes of previous cars and speeding tickets, his license should have been taken away. So much failure in this situation.

i just dont understand why anyone would drive drunk, let alone drive THAT car drunk. as thescotsman said, that car is a bitch to drive stone cold sober. it is basically a street-legal race car. very dangerous car when driven at those speeds. exceedingly more dangerous than most cars. i know it is sad that he passed away, but i mean come on. im sure he makes enough money that he could have called a cab or something or used AAA to tow his car home/give him a ride. this was just the big consequence of a terrible decision

I completely agree with you. People need to stop being so mean about all of this.

sorry. I see nothing sad about someone risking OTHER people's lives getting killed doing it.

If he had KILLED your Mother while driving drunk and too fast and survived, you'd want to kill him. If he'd killed your mother driving drunk and too fast and also been killed you'd say it serves him right. Because it didn't impact you personally you say we should feel sorry for this Ass. I don't buy it. Sorry.

he also KILLED another person through a series of poor decisions. he was famous for being on jackass, and that is pretty much all

i mean he was pretty much asking for it driving that car after drinking that much. and it would be one thing if he just killed himself, but he killed another person! i dont think he deserved to die because he was a bad person, but he might as well have been playing russian roulette with an automatic pistol.
