So to appease some and let the NHL finals thread close, I figured I'd start a new topic for the off season. Hear a good trade rumor, your team make a smart move and re-sign someone? Post it here and let fellow hockey fans know. Can also post news just NHL related, such as the recent changes to rules 41 and 48( boarding and blindside hits respectively).

And it looks like the Flyers are making the first moves. Columbus just got better by getting Jeff Carter from the Flyers. And now LA just got better by getting Mike Richards from the Flyers. Sounds like the flyers may have some issues this season.

Wow, I can't believe that the Flyers took Bryzgalov, for 9 years and $51 million, I doubt this will really help them much in the post season. Now that they've gotten rid of their highest 2 scorers.

Jagr is coming back to the NHL for cheap(he was making over $6million in the KHL untaxed and he is talking about coming back to NHL for $2million plus incentives, said its not all about the money) and it is looking like the Penguins are likely to get him...otherwise he is probably going to Redwings...but HOLY SHIT

I love how Jagr returned to his little prima donna ways so fast, and dragged his heels on the offer sheets. It was fun watching teams 1 by 1 rescind their offers. lol. I'm pumped my Hawks pick up Carcilo. While I'm certainly no Carcilo fan, we need that physicality.
