Don't quote me on this, but I seem to remember awhile back some folks around here had some trouble with South Smoke. Specifically not getting exactly what they ordered. Apparently South Smoke was a little too liberal with substituting one item/style/color/flavor for another when they didn't have exactly what you ordererd. They might have cleaned up their act, but I don't know.

I have a friend who buys all his maasell/coals from them, and he has no problem

I got my first hookah and batch of shisha from SouthSmoke and I never had any problems. That was the only time I ever ordered from them, though. I got a two hose Egyptian called "The Solution," which got the job done at the time but quickly developed some problems (leaks, loose rattling pieces inside...) The whole check valve pipe came loose and I had to solder it back on. I never attempted to contact them about any of these issues, so I can't comment on their customer service.

I've ordered from them about 3 times and I have been very satisfied with them, no item switches here.
