peaceman27
So I've never seen a good review for these little metal screens that come with hookahs. I never even thought of trying it out until today. I stuck that sucker on the top of an egyptian bowl and WOW. It smokes GREAT. I have to admit that I have converted. I can see how they would suck for my phunnel, but for my egyptians they rock. king_lunchb0x
i never had a good experience with a metal screen, and they can be a pain in the ass to clean if you don't do it after every time you smoke Edited June 27, 2011 by king_lunchb0x
Skoozle
I used one on an MNH bowl with Shiazo Steam Stones. Not a conventional use but it worked.
king_lunchb0x
i guess good thing to have just in case you run out of foil or your friends do. I think those are the only times I have a used one in the first place. But what ever floats ur boat!
Big Boss
I use metal screens on my Pyrex bowl, as the shape prohibits the use of aluminum foil. Never had an issue with metal screens and those are all I'll use on that particular bowl.
dizzbizz
I used to use one, but I didn't like it very much after I got used to using foil. I still keep one around in case I run out of foil.

The bowl its very much like a glass sphere. Only way to get the foil to stay on is to wrap it all the way down the bowl, and I don't like using that much foil. The screens work well enough for me in regards to that bowl.
