Mast3rShake
I am assuming the chiller is just a place to put ice to help the smoke cool down quickly as you pull it. Is there really an advantage to the chiller? It seems like the ice would melt pretty fast and it will just be something else to clean and care for. I was leaning toward nn-chiller but what do you folks out there think? Thx.
Arcane
It's aesthetics for the most part.
dizzbizz
I think the chillers look pretty cool and unique but a lot of people say it just becomes really top heavy when the ice melts. I don't know if it actually cools the smoke though.
vendetta_revived
All they are good for is adding $30 to your bill, but you can put your coals there.
squidget
Putting ice in the chiller has no affect on the smoke. Just but ice in the base (if you want some chill). I picked up a chiller on the cheap and they are excellent for coal storage. Edited June 28, 2011 by squidget
