cityboyyy
hey can anyone show me a picture of a diffuser for a hookah and explain how to make one? thanks
DarthHookah
from what i have learned, it is simply something the breaks up the bubbles inside the vase. look into the water as you smoke- see the big bubbles? a diffuser is a small screen that fits on the end of the stem (the part that goes into the wateR) so there is more water/smoke surface connection. supposedly it cools the smoke more, i dunno ive never tried. but i am sure all you need to do is somehow put a bit of screen over the hole in the bottom of the vase and youd have a diffuser. anyone who knows better, correct me if i am wrong. c4r80n
pretty much.I took a pen cap and melted holes in it from a paperclip heated up and jammed it into my stem. It can be removed for cleaning though. I made a spiral pattern.it can also be made from a metal, or a rubber thimble (sp?). basically anything that will fit over your hookah stem, or inside it, that you can poke holes into (no large holes).Hope this helps.. pauldavis
i just used a hose tip that i got with my hookah...and i found large (well relatively large, but still smaller than the original opening) holes work pretty good
Ain Soph Aur
I use this. I got it off the end of one of those small eyedropper things they use to measure drops with. I found it in my little brothers toy lab kit. I heated the end of a paper clip and put holes in it.It works great. Here it is on the end of the stem.
c4r80n
excellent. if the draw is too tight, try putting more holes.nice and quiet isn't it?
Ain Soph Aur
Yes it is. I originaly only poked holes in it with my foil hole needle thing but the draw was stil a little too tight. So then I heated the paper clip and burnt actual holes in it. Now it draws perfect. It makes so many small bubbles that if I put milk in the base I would have bubbles flying out of the hoses.
