method Posted July 7, 2011 Share Posted July 7, 2011 (edited) so ive been to the neighbour arab village , and found 2 interesting flavours :-) 1st is called "Chechek" , mixture of some 6 flavours . smoked it , and i couldnt taste any flavour thats famliar to me , was odd , tho not bad at all . [img]http://www.upfile4u.net/Files/8l1m4j.JPG[/img] it looks exactly like fried spinach 2nd is "Syrian Mixture" .... 6 or 8 flavours , tastes alrite , some mint , maybe some cherry , cant pinpoint the rest . Trini Posted July 8, 2011 Share Posted July 8, 2011 No ......its spoken in my country not by many people and mostly broken in a form of patois but you kind of grow up with a small knowledge of some words.. parentes would use the word "[color=#1C2837][i]chech[/i]a[i]k" to discurage toddlers from touching dirty things.....or you will end up with pox on your face and hands ....."dont play in that dirt or you will get chechak"[/i][/color] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
