facebook is just aggravating me with it's constant updates and changes. you get used to one thing, then they change it up on you

(p.s. invite only registration is back up, so if anyone wants to send me an invite i'll be much appreciative)

So a few friends told me that all they did was visit plus.google.com and they were able to set up their own profiles immediately. However the invite link on a user's home page is quite a bitch - appears late one night for me, and I think "ok, I'll send a few invites tomorrow morning" and then the next morning it's gone. So yes if you see the link to invite and you have friends who want to join, I'd suggest you do it immediately.

The circle concept is pretty smart too, like vendetta_revived mentioned.

As far as trust issues go, as bawhee mentioned, maybe you should take a look at this - http://photofocus.com/2011/07/06/google-plus-read-the-fine-print-before-you-sign-up/

Not technically "trust" issue per se but it does deal with the privacy of your content, and online, that's what matters.

Interesting read. Google has always been like that though.

Time to make a HF circle! If anybody wants an invite go to this site to mask your e-mail address and post the link here in the thread - http://scr.im/

Just found out that you can comment on things your friends share, but there is no way to directly write on their "wall". Kind of inconvenient.

You can still post to a friends "wall", but only those you allow to see the post will see it. It works the opposite from Facebook. You don't make a public post to a friends wall that anybody who is their friend can also see. Instead, when you click to share anything, whether it be something with a specific circle, all circles, the entire world, a specific friend or friends name. If you put just one friends name that will then send them a notification and act is if you posted on their "wall".

Oh thanks, I already found that out after I had spent some time getting the hang of it. :) I am glad that google have put a lot of thought in it and that google+ is not all 'buzz'ed out.

I've really been enjoying it so far. A whole ton more than FB, that's for sure.

Also, add me!
