onionz
I have let my two latest flavors acclimate overnight. The smoke production is off the charts. However the flavor is not that strong. When I first open the bag I don't smell soy sauce just the proper strong flavor. Do I not need acclimating or maybe just a lesser amount? The two flavors are Spearmint and Horchata. MichaelLCP
Less heat is the key. Also, when I open up my tangiers, it always smells like the flavor. If it already smells good to you then there is no need to acclimate it. I usually let it sit out for about an hour and stir it, then seal it overnight and smoke it the next day. onionz
Sounds good Michael. Will try with my next bag. The scent is like half gone after I acclimate it. Guess I was being too catious.
Hassouni
Yeah last two batches of Tangiers I got they smelled fine out of the bag then after acclimation the taste wasn't as strong as I expected. Definitely not gonna bother if they smell OK next time
