seth
Hello,A few months back I purchased a large, copper, secondhand hookah from a local shop owner. I got a great deal, but was ignorant as to what to look for. The valve is broken. As far as I can see, it's broken clean off. I have been enjoying the smoke since then, as well as all of my friends. Clearing the chamber is a hassle, and the smoke becomes unbearable too quickly. It is a BEAUTIFUL hookah, and it's just not reaching its potential. Right now it has putty over the whole.Any suggestions would be MORE than appreciated.--Seth
MrGuy
you could try mod a piece of plastic to fit in it like a valve, maybe a pen top or something? or possibly even a mouth tip.
Scalliwag
When you say it broke off clean is there still part of it threaded in? If so you shoud be able to get that out. Then it's possible you could match the threads with another valve. Can you take a pic of the hookah so maybe someone can identify brand?
Sonthert
Yeah, unless you can braze or solder, it is fuck*d...ooops I mean f*cked.

skiracerj1
I wouldn;t braze it, the temp for brazing is too high and could cause several problems
pauldavis
if you could post a picture of the hookah that would help
Sonthert
I wouldn;t braze it, the temp for brazing is too high and could cause several problems
It was rhetorical. Soldering is preferred, obviously. Lots of lead free solders out there...many fine books have been written in prison.
