Broken Km Base. What Are My Options?

So I just broke my KM base.

Hookah-Shisha does not sell replacement bases for it that match.

Do you know where I might be able to find a black one?

I am also considering purchasing a new one. The stem is a little too tall at 42 inches, and I would be pleased with a shorter one. I really do not know what is good anymore though. I heard KM's quality has decreased over the years.

glass is glass. i seriously doubt km makes their own bases, i'm sure whoever makes them just puts km's name on there for them. so don't worry about getting another "km" vase.

if you're looking to kill some height, you could always go for a size 26 syrian base and do some modding to the down stem (i did that on my km tri and it hasn't affected the smoke quality at all). you can look on here for a thread that hass made on it (he did the same to actually lengthen the downstem on his leb pipe). but that could save you quite a few inches (it could even probably get you down to around 35")

if you don't want to do any modding, you're pretty much stuck with the normal looking bell shaped base.

i would check out hookah john, south smoke, and hookah company (south smoke has some cool syrian bases that may save you height while not having to do any modding - i have my km parad-ice in one)

Thanks for the replies guys. I talked to Hookah-Shisha and they said a large one of these will work:

It is 11 inches tall with a 1.8 inch opening. I just hope it is wide enough to support a 3.5 ft hookah.

I'm not sure why I bought one so tall... It really is a pain.

I use a H-S Pyramid vase with my KM, and it fits great.

H-S Egyptian vases also work.

I've been browsing Hookah Company.

They have probably the best selection, if you guys recommend them.
