dizzbizz
Im gonna get one of theese made at my local pottery shop just to see if it will work And im gonna put a little fan next to the coal so it doesn't go out
That can work, but if you look at a coal on a regular bowl you'll notice that when you take a pull, it glows and become hotter. If a fan is constantly blowing on the coal it will heat it and the coal will become too hot, therefore scorching the tobacco from the bottom up. At least that's my hypothesis. S3cretz
ok I decided to rather make it like an oven so you can light a fire beneath the shisha so this would work like a pizza oven/geyser if it works its gonna be epic
TheyCallMeDave
What I would recommend is to place a ring of decently sized holes around the outer rim of the hole leading to the hookah stem. Imagine like a flower, there's the center and the the surrounding petals. This will keep oxygen to the coal, keep the materials from getting too hot, helps the idea of using a fan so yu don't have to... Plus this way, the coal will gain and release heat naturally with the wind. Again, this is just a suggestion.
Moose
Word filter... hold on... Idiot Idea? Edit (AKA post: the second coming):Yep. What a silly filter, who's against it enough for that filter? I like the concept... Haven't tried it though, so whatever.
It's not really about being against about it. The guy who made the Idiot Idea joined here and spammed the forum like crazy! So naturally, there is not any respect for it here. Also, the people who have tried it find it of little use.
ilikemyusername
I'm all for innovation but this won't work. once you spend more time with a hookah and coals you'll understand why, it's not your fault, it's those damn physics.
