Broken Mya Gelatto Base

Recommended Posts

Hi all.My first post on here is a sad one.About an hour ago my Gelatto base slipped from my hands, hit my ceramic kitchen sink, and the top "ice cream scoop broke off. While far from a smooth break,it appears to be clean, with no chips.

My question is,would super glue be a safe, temporary fix? I've looked through several vendors include Mya and hookah-shisha, and can't seem to find the gelatto base sold seperately. So until I can find the money to get a whole new gelatto (I really enjoy my current one),would super glue be safe?

any other comments, suggestions, etc are warmly welcome.

Contact Mya Directly, for a replacement base. Just because it's not on their site doesn't mean you can't get it.

Super glue or Some epoxy, No worries because it doesn't get hot.

Thanks for the heads up.I'm waiting on the gorilla glue to finish drying now.

If all that fails, there are probably other Mya vases in different styles that will fit.
