The Persian Hillbilly
I've been all over the world. I've eaten lots of strange things. I like being adventurous! Never understood people who'd travel overseas and go to Micky D's? When I was in Singapore. They were very diverse in foods. The Chinese have a recipe for anything! I saw a cage with a giant snake waiting to be cooked! There was a restaurant whose specialty was dog. I don't know what breed it was, but it had great sauce!

noodle
I had grilled rattlesnake on a scout campout. Someone accidentally came upon it and dropped a grill on it. What else do you do with a freshly-killed snake in that situation? Tasted like lobster. Edited July 17, 2011 by noodle
TheyCallMeDave
Ostrich jerky is pretty tasty. A little too sweet for me. Ah, and who could forget the time I had Rocky Mountain Oysters (AKA sauteed and fried bull testicles)!!!! I love biziarre food, and am totally willing to try anything. ilikemyusername
Guinnea Pig lumps in "tomato" sauce over beans and rice in Peru. Iguana at Iguana National Forest in Costa Rica. "Mexican food" in mexico... totally blows. The first time I ever had Sashimi was in Hawaii. At the time it was pretty strange. But by far the most putrid foul and disgusting thing I've ever eaten is this huge grub in Peru, it was white, about 4 inches long and had a red head with huge pinchers on it. It was alive! and Bursting with flavor!
Big Boss
One of my favorite Czech dishes is Jitternice. Basically, it's made from an entire hog (except the bones and eyes, not sure about the brain), ground up and put in hog casing. Once cooked, the casing is ruptured and the ground pork is squeezed out. Love that stuff. Dobré jídlo! Dobré pivo! Dobré časy!
