jsut91
Hello, I'm new to the forum so I just wanted to post in the general discussion area. Recently, I found that my family had about 3-4 hookahs lying around in our garage. I found them in a box and was only able to find the bases and a few heads. I could not find any hoses/metal stems/plates. I talked to a friend of mine and he said a new stem is basically not worth it and I might as well buy a new hookah. I wanted to seek some advice here and wanted to know the best thing I could do. Should I go through with cleaning all the bases and go to buy a new stem(s), hose(s), or plate(s) or should I buy a new hookah entirely. These are medium size bases not ones you see at a hookah bar but not really a mini base. in the mean time I am going to search my garage for more parts, but if anyone could help me I would appreciate it. Thanks.
Big Boss
I'd just buy a new hookah. If it's something you stick with, then I'd refurbish the old ones you found. Here's a limited selection of what's out there: http://www.hookah-shisha.com/c-2-hookahs-hookah-pipes.html Welcome to the forum!

Chreees
Can you post pics of the vases? Depends on what they are and how good of a deal you can find online or locally for just the shanks.

If you have a nice base, personally I'd just get a stem, if for no other reason to have a second when a friend comes buy.
dizzbizz
You can find some nice stems like a KM Kamanja Wheat that are sold alone. Just saying, if you have nice bases, find a nice stem for it!
TheyCallMeDave
I would agree. You're gonna find out down the road if you really get into hookah you're either some one that constantly has a stock of coals, shisha, bowls, etc. or someone who doesn't. I, am someone who doesn't. From experience, if you can save money and still get a quality product, do it.
