malakas
(^_____^) I will try making one of these asap!
Scalliwag
Finding it local for most people can be a little tough but clear surgical grade reinforced silicone tubing would be pretty cool. It is not as clear as vinyl but it is very flimsy like most hoses. I have a feeling it would not be very cost efficient.
zombiedepot
Cool. I don't know if I'd use one, but at least you'll know when to clean it.
Glottis
AND, it's pretty cheap to replace the middle part if it's ruined for some reason AND you can make it as long as you want.
joetuo
I was thinking of tring to make one of these...the store I am checking out has rubber, acrylic, vinyl, and PVC tubing. Which would be best to use???
Claytron
In my experience this tubing is WAAAAAY stiffer than your standard Hookah hose. I thought about doing this, but unless the tubing gets quite warm it doesn't give too much.
Glottis
It depends on the type and thickness of tubing you get. In my experience it hasn't been too stiff.
Claytron
How did you attach the brass bits to the wooden parts out of curiosity?
Halon
There's a smaller diameter tubing. The ID of the small PVC tube is about the same size as the ODs of both the male ends of the brass connector and the handle and the OD of the smaller PVC fits snugly inside the metal ring. It's probably much easier for you to take a hose apart and see what I mean than for me to explain it, lol.TYLER
