nkfm
So a friend of ours sent us an opened tub of tobacco, Al Amir Apple. It tastes okay and all, but it wasn't in a bag or anything and the plastic tub isn't very airtight. The tobacco is obviously a bit dry and getting "chunky". Is there any way to revive the moisture in there? Add glycerine or something? I don't want to waste it and trying to smoke it asap, but it's becoming too dry to even do that. TheyCallMeDave
Glycerine. You can buy it at your local food store/drug store. Adding the slightest bit of honey will help too.

Scrappydoo
i have used a little bit of honey to revive some old, dried out tobacco with great results
I was told to add some honey, work it thru with your hands, then warm it up a little in the micro or stovetop so it absorbs. I had some Layalina banana that had been shipped to me in a broken bag and was completely dried out. I did that and smoked it all!

Skoozle
I haven't worked with glycerine myself but I have heard it will dilute the flavor so don’t add more than you need to. Hope it works out for you.

nkfm
Thanks for the tips. I did do the whole tub at a time, and I added slightly more honey than glycerine. I added a few drops of each at a time, stirred and let it sit for 20 mins then repeated as nesscessary. When it looked pretty good, I packed a bowl. The apple taste did diminish a bit but the honey helped keep it sweet I think. It wasn't bad!
