I have a glock 21, an M16, two Rottweilers and a big Persian husband!

(OH and one heck of a set of cooking knives, if it came to that! LOL!) Edited by Scrappydoo

Right now I just have the XDm .40 with Hollow Points. Had to sell a shotgun and my smaller caliber guns to pay off medical debt.

This is going to be a next little project.

http://www.coldsteel.com/grossemesser.html Classic home defense sword! Probably the best design for a modern enthusiast.

That said, a gun is still far preferable for self defense...

When I buy Pepper spray it has pyrotechnics and is made by a gun company.

clear 3km line of sight from my deck in all directions, and a 408. Who wants to be close when 2km headshots are the order of the day - Might get brains all over the place.

I have a .357 Ruger pistol. A Nagant M1895 and a TT-30 (for show mostly).

However true story time:
The one time my house was broken into the would-be burglar put his foot into my adult water monitors' enclosure. I heard a scream, the the breaking of glass and called the cops, but when the cops got there, they said there were two agitated lizards and some blood, but they never found the guy. Apparently Senior Bitey and Lady Chomps didn't take well to intruders and took a chunk out of the guy. The sheriff was laughing so hard I thought he was going to die of oxygen deprivation.

I'd have called the hospitals looking ofr a guy with bite marks on his legs. :) Hope they didn't develop a taste for long pork. :)

Guy never checked in, that was the first thing they checked for. Though he might have gone to some other town or city. Hard to tell. As for Senior Bitey and Lady Chomps, their dispositions softened over the years (surprisingly enough I can let them around around like dogs in my house), and while they love pork for supper, long pig hasn't been on the menu since...I think its because they're lazy lizards and prefer the easier meal.

I have an assortment of decorative swords and a naginata, and my rapier for fencing. None of which could really do any damage.

On the other hand I have a combat ready hand-and-a-half german blade, as well as a battle ready reproduction of a sword from the movie 300 and the matching shield. I've also assorted sword fighting courses for 3-ish years, so I know how to handle them pretty damned well. Considering buying my friends battle-ready two-handed Dao as well.

No firearms, however.
