Better then bringing a gun to a bomb fight.

And I like that (although I have been jumped twice by dumb ass guys trying to become gang affiliates in the fanciest and richest area of SD, very spaced out I might add) I feel no need for a weapon since the neighborhood is very safe. The cops are busy wasting time on busting skaters at the skatepark for not wearing helmets because crime is much lower in this area.

Although we did have a major crime recently, and one of my best friends friends was murdered, May she rest in peace.

So right now just a small assortment of knives and my beloved Himalayan Imports Kukri.

My new handgun, Ruger SR40 shoots the .40 S&W round obviously. got to put about 50 rounds into it yesterday it's got a little kick but nothing like a .45 and only a bit more than a 9mm. I wanted something bigger than a 9mm this time around. I got a great deal on it too only cost me $300 from a friend who had only put a few rounds into it himself so it's basically brand new.

I am so glad to not live in the citidiots anymore. I used to walk my dogs wearing level IIa armor, and still never felt safe.

And that was the "good" neighborhood - like there is such a place.

How's the action on the trigger? The trigger safety sure sticks out there a bit.
