Yeah, I've heard of that issue. <_<

I like Mac OS for the most part, but that's a pretty big issue, and the main reason I would tell people to avoid Lion right now. Its kind of like...Apple's Vista (until they fix it).

Yeah, I'll wait until they fix the issue. That's too big of an issue for me to just ignore. And I don't want to be stuck using my Windows XP Bootcamp partition, so I won't be upgrading for now. Thanks for the advice.

That aside, I like what they added on Lion. I wish there were more customizable options though. Like how your desktop, icons, menu bar, etc. look. I don't understand why they won't let you change these things. This goes for the iPhone as well. I don't want to hack my stuff just be able to change the appearance of it, haha.

...i'll leave it at this. There are some networking issues there as well. Replicating Traffic and a couple other things I have read. I will punish anyone that upgrades on my network. That is all.

Haha, fair enough. Like I said, I'm waiting until the issues are fixed, or I may not upgrade at all. Who knows. It's not like Lion has anything THAT special. To be honest, AirDrop is probably the best feature. Brooke and I transfer files back and forth a lot at home, and it could also prove to be useful at times like in the class I'm in now. Lots of transferring of files and whatnot. Launchpad is the second coolest thing, but not necessary by any means.

Basically, I expected more improvements or cooler features. More appearance customizable options is something I'd love.

Yeah the thing is you can replicate airdrop completely with dropbox, it's free, it's fast and it's out for mac too iirc (and works with anyone, anywhere across the web). Lion like all Apple OSs is going to have some bugs with flash to workout. I've been sharing files instantly like that with people for years with Linux and Windows, hooray for the "cloud". Even without internet I can do this with my mixed windows/linux network it's called having shared folders and shortcuts. I guess they really have to dumb it down for people to make it a selling point :P. Since you can already replicate it's best "feature" I would wait a bit. /$0.02

Yeah I'm sticking with Snow Leopard for now. I just don't see the need to upgrade. There's really not anything that I'm like "OMG I NEED IT" about it. Most of the new features are just pointless things to me.
