8 o'clock at night.
So much work to do.
So many people to call.
So many problems to work through.
The power goes out for 3 blocks in each direction.
No sings of it starting up again soon.
Try to finish working.
I cant without my computer.
Try to watch tv but alas the power is out.
Try to smoke hookah but I rember almost all my things are at my friends apartment.
Open up my crate of old hookah parts and unearth some treasures.
My second Hookah named mist an old leaky 3 pipe rotator.
My favorite old pipe a cobra pipe modified to be washable.
and a tin of tabacco with the illusive three stamped on it.
The old number three that to this day still sits in my alias.
The number three tabbaco mix with over 6 flavours in it.
A s3cret mix only 3 people know the contents of.
Its been over a year since I smoked it.
I decide to pack mist for nostaliga's sake
the only bowl I can find is a small pink mod bowl.
and a roll of foil is on the kitchen table.
nothing but the stick on my thongs to perforate with.
I find a single quicklite a very old quicklite clearly expired.
it becomes pitted as I light it.
I sit down on my faithfull hookah chair and take a pull.
Then two then three.
Im reminded about hookah before all the bullshit.
before all the washed tabacco and nammor hoses before the punnel and vortex bowls.
when the only real choice was Al Fhakker or Nakhla.
I turn off my flashlight and smoke for 2 and a half hours on one coal.
The only light for miles is the coal on the bowl.
The only company is the faint simmer of the tabacco.
I am truly happy.
I am reminded why I love hookah

That's very deep. :) But which quicklite burns for 2 and a half hours?

There were these mean quicklites we used to make locally before the machine broke down
