Blakefox
Well, Ive been traveling alot. Havent had time to really sit down and enjoy my Nour with some nice Tangiers in awhile. I was wondering, since I know some new flavors have been out (Not sure If they came out in Lucid though), What would you say would be your favorite Lucid flavor at the moment. I have never been able to smoke Noir, though I would really love to if its possible in South Florida. I'm just getting one flavor for now, and maybe a new one every two weeks depending on how busy I am with new work and all. I usually prefer mint because of the strength of the flavor. To be honest, im not so particular on the exactness, but moreso just an overall good strong flavor that will survive an hour or more session. And tangiers in my past experiences has done that the best. And I love mint, FYI. The 4/20 acclimation method is the most commonly used method once the shisha is received right? Haven't acclimated in soo long, went on a Al-Fakher spree for awhile because of the rose flavor, though usually im not a fan of florals or spices. So... 1. Top Lucid Tangiers? 2. Any South Floridians who use Noir? 3. Current Acclimation Process? Thanks, Blake
Epoch
"It's Like That One Breakfast Cereal" is a kick ass Lucid exclusive. Although any of the flavors that are popular in Noir and available in Lucid are still gonna be fantastic.
Blakefox
Imo, ILTOBC taste like a very delicious orange or orange juice, didnt taste much else. I had to actually check my glass I was drinking to make sure it wasnt orange juice the first time smoking it though lol (It was dark out). What would be the difference in that and "Lucid Orange Soda"?

Blakefox
And since there are a few that overlap, what, in your opinion, are some flavors that are relatively the same across lucid and noir? It would be useful to have some lucid when acclimation time isn't an option. I know noir usually packs an extra punch, but there has to be some flavors that dont change too drastically in lucid.
No, no particular order really.
And since there are a few that overlap, what, in your opinion, are some flavors that are relatively the same across lucid and noir?
They're pretty much the same if its a flavor that is available in Noir and Lucid. Some claim one will be more flavorful in one line. It's all subjective, really. I tend to go Lucid on as much as I can simply for the fact sometimes Noir won't acclimate for me, depending on the weather and time of year. So pretty much I just go Lucid and then get in Noir the flavors I can't get in Lucid. But, I will admit, here lately I have been enjoying Noir more for some reason. I'd say just do the same- go Lucid then get Noir if its a flavor you really want to try but it's not available in Lucid. The best way I can describe the difference between Noir and Lucid is: Lucid has a "cleaner" flavor. Noir has a more "heavy" flavor. Noir has more of a tobacco flavor along with the flavor its supposed to be, hence the "heaviness," whereas Lucid is lacking this tobacco-ish flavor, so it can be considered "cleaner."
What's the difference between tropical revenge and Indian summer? They both seem to be mixed fruit?
Eric has MANY mixed fruits. They're all just different varieties, or different fruit mixes, if you will. Flavor descriptions: Tropical Revenge!: A seasonal flavor blend, tropical revenge! Is a mixture of Pineapple, pear and orange. The orange slightly dominates the pineapple with the pear being more of a side flavor. The mixture of flavors gives Tropical Revenge! some complexity and very good humidity resistance. Endurance is also very good. It is moderately sweet and medium oiliness, but the flavor is more than average for flavor strength. Indian Summer: This mixed fruit blend mixes several floral flavors and several fruit flavors together to make a complex, sturdy flavor. I personally really Indian Summer. I keep it on hand all the time. Whereas I don't Tropical Revenge!
Blakefox
Ahh, thank you very much and a belated happy birthday. I will most likely try Noir Welsh Cream and Lucid Indian Summer. A good variety. Maybe also purchase some of those shiazo stones I've been dying to try as well.

Blakefox
What coal do you prefer to heat the tangiers? I usually dont always have the materials to cut coco's, And Idk, It seems they got to hot if uncut. So what would be a good coal to try IYO? Chreees
I like Golden Canaries best for Tangiers. For coconut coals, I recommend Cocomazaya. Their cube shape means less contact with the bowl, which means less heat.
No problem. Three Kings should be okay for Tangiers heat-wise, but they impair the flavor a good bit due to how they give off more of a coal taste. Coconaras are often just too much heat for Tangiers. If you use Coconaras, I suggest cutting them in halves for better heat management.

"These coals are too hot!" she said and gave them to her friend who smoked Nakla. She then lit some lumps and said, "These coals are too cool!" and gave them to her friend who smoked AF.
