Well, UH has them listed as Quicklights, but they're really more like naturals with quicklight qualities. Reason why is they smoke like a natural coal- no bad taste, things like that. The only reason they can be called quicklights is you are able to light them FAIRLY quickly with just a lighter, but a coil burner is still ideal. It takes 5 minutes on my coil burner. Longer if I light if with a lighter. Either way, what's really cool about these, is you only have to light the first round of coals. Yeah. How you ask? Well, put the first lit round on. About 15 minutes of smoking, coals have gone down in size a little bit, break off and add new squares, sitting them on top of the lit coals. This is called "piggybacking." Within 5 minutes, the new coals sitting up top will be lit as well. Wait 5-10 minutes, then take the new coals off, knock the small coals bits and ash off into your tray, and place the newly lit coals back on the bowl. Repeat this whole process for as long as you wish to smoke. :)

I like Golden Canaries best for Tangiers. For coconut coals, I recommend Cocomazaya. Their cube shape means less contact with the bowl, which means less heat.

What coal do you prefer to heat the tangiers? I usually dont always have the materials to cut coco's, And Idk, It seems they got to hot if uncut. So what would be a good coal to try IYO?

There once was a Princess named Coyote. One day she was walking around in the lounge and wanted to smoke her Tangiers Lucid Mimon. She packed her bowl and lit some CCN's. "These coals are too hot!" she said and gave them to her friend who smoked Nakla. She then lit some lumps and said, "These coals are too cool!" and gave them to her friend who smoked AF. Finally she tried some GC's and said, "These coals are juuuuust right!". And she smoked happily ever after. The End.

Soo, I ordered a brand of coal that can't be spoken... In both natural and QL... Starts with a "C" how will they work with the tangiers? Hot coals, cold coals.... Oh my!

I hear the new version burn a lot cooler and last a lot longer, and people do like them with Tangiers.
