Scalliwag
There is a Indian grocery store about 8 miles from me that a smoke shop had recommended to get shisha. I went there last Friday and got 4- 250gr. boxes of Nahkla Dub Apple, Peach, Mint, and one brand I can't remember. The stuff was $6.50 a box which I thought was good.Anyways I was buddying up with the owner of the store and he really nice. While we were bullshitting I saw a biz card that said "Cafe' Medi" on their wall with some other biz cards. I asked him if Cafe' Medi had a hookah lounge and he said they did. It was kinda on my way home but I did not have time to stop in. They were not open Monday so I went there last night. It was 6 miles. First off they had great food and well priced. I got a half pound Red Snapper fillet dinner for $12.50. They did not serve alcohol but have BYOB!!! I did not know that in advance or I would have brought my cooler. I ended up drinking root beer You have to smoke outside. So we ate inside and then moved it to the patio at hookah time. But it was nice outside last night so that was okay. The waiter was cool and let me go back and look at their hookah setup area and smell the different shishas, look at the hookahs, etc. They had Starbuzz and Al Waha. Starbuzz was $15 for the first bowl, $4 there after. Al Waha was $10 and $4 per after. Mixes were $2 extra and juices in the base $2.50. They used quicklights but they were burning well so they were okay. I got Kiwi with cranberry juice in the vase. It was a nice hookah, not sure what brand but it smoked excellent. The flavor was nice and the smoke was thick. A early 20 crowd showed up and one of the girls complained about harshness so I told them how to purge and they were very appreciative of that trick. I also told them about this forum so maybe some of them will drop in. They were having fun. My bowl was still going nicely after an hour but I can only take so much root beer so I called it a very good night and VERY easy on the wallet for the accomidations and food. If you are ever near Fort Worth Texas I highly recommend dropping by there. We are probably going back on Sunday with an icechest full of beer.I am bringing my coals and my pentorch. EvansLight
damn i must try this one. I thought i knew of most if not all the hookah bar/cafes around the D/FW area, but i guess i was wrong. Granted will be a bit to far, but then again the closest one to me is Jasmine Cafe, which is still a good 20min drive. Damn mesquite needs its own hookah bar
PeaceinIsrael
thats weird that you were only allowed to smoke outside. In the hookah bars round here you can smoke inside. LOL we even have a smoking ban here, but hookah bars are exempt.

They may let you smoke inside when the weather is bad. They start the hookahs inside and get them going. I am pretty sure they could let us smoke inside if they wanted. Think its on Greenville.
EvansLight
Heck ya man. DFW seems to be a damn good place to live if your a hookah smoker. Awesome bars, resturants, cafes, and alot of places to buy it. I think theres a few other of the sites that sell hookah stuff that are located here as well
Scalliwag
I tried to pull it up on Google biz but that did not work. I thought the name was "Gazi International Foods" but I called directory assistance and nothing came up by that name. I have their biz card at home though. They are at the corner of Brown Trail and Hardwood in Hurst a couple of doors from the big pet store. They have a lot of hookahs too. But I just made a beeline for their shisha.<edit> this was in response to Clarity wanting to know what the name of the place I got the shisha. I will post the name, address, and phone number later
