Lately, I am experiencing a torrible headache after 5 hours smoking, I learned that this is called nicotine poison, you get it after long hours (4+) smoking, but it goes away one hour after i quit the session, I hate the pain though. trying to go less aggressive in smoking... PULL
How long have you been smoking hookah? Because it is actually really dangerous to go from a non smoker to smoking that much in one day. Not saying you haven't been smoking for awhile. Just saying. That's one thing that causes nicotine poisoning. 0 Nicotine to a lot of Nicotine in a short while.
well that's good to know, I have a friend who ad never smoked hooka before so we went to a hookah bar one night and then a party the next day (whats a party with out a hookah) and by the end of the night he was talking about how the hookah was giving him a headache and I had no idea why. its happened to a couple of my friends. its hard having friend's who cant hack it. but now I can tell them why. Fusion
I've been pretty busy the last few months so I've been smoking far less than I used to, about 3-5 sessions per month

Also add nice music.
Echoing this, I always try to multi-task while smoking, especially if I'm doing it alone. Studying and smoking was always fun and even a nice book by the pool while smoking is so relaxing!
Coyote
I smoke every day sometimes twice a day depending on time. It's especially nice after a long day to sit down with a nice cup of tea and my favorite flavor (at the moment its Tangiers Marigold noir or Lucid Mimon). It's very soothing end to the day... unless of course someone is chugging base water on TC.

YanGsTer
One bowl a day. Btw, I've just started smoking shisha two weeks ago, so is it harmful for a beginner like me to be smoking everyday? I do have them headaches most of my sessions, but they are bearable.
Headaches could be caused by using poor quality instant-light coals, or coals that aren't well lit. Or perhaps you aren't used to the nicotine content of your tobacco yet. Either way, drink plenty of water when you smoke.
Bawhee
Unlit ql coals! BEWARE! the headache that can cause is worse than any hangover. poor quality qls maybe too, tho I have had several qls and the only headaches I got were from not waiting for them to light all the way. Not to mention that the flavor also get messed up if you dont wait till the coals are lit! EDIT: and always have water! Lots and lots of water. YanGsTer
I never use qls, i'm using naturals. They are always fully lit before i put them in use. Well I don't normally drink a lot during when i'm smoking, maybe that's the problem. I'll have plenty of fluid the next time.
