Yasseah
I have a glass mini-phunnel that I'd like to sell, kind of fell out of love with it because I don't smoke as often anymore and when I do, I want massive clouds. I want to clean it off first and make it like new. I'm sure I can scrub everything off the outside, but I need to find a way to clean the inside. I tried filling it with 91% alcohol and salt, then shaking it which works great for other things but it didn't work. Surely there is something I can use to soften up the crap that's baked on the glass so I can get it off with pipe cleaners and stuff?
Arcane
Boil it. It should come off easily after that, if not already clean after the boiling.
Zildjian
after boiling DO NOT RUN IT UNDER COLD WATER. also let it sit for a while before you use it next, dont want to crack that glass.
poncho
You can soak it in the running alcohol for a few hoursand use a pipe cleaner to get the tight spaces.
vendetta_revived
Santino recommends brew rite coffee cleaner. Little bit of that and boiling water, but that he recommended for his micro phunnels that are made of boro glass, but it should work for yours too I suppose. TheyCallMeDave
Santino also recommends for your glass bowls, oxy-clean cleaning gel.
atalanta
We have a kegerator and have line cleaner which I've read elsewhere as a suggestion for cleaning the vase portion (it's like US$6 for a tub that lasts a long time). I don't see why it wouldn't work for the bowl to clean off the miscellaneous gunk.
