Teh Owntt
Does anyone really find these any better than a standard hookah? Ive seen them at a smoke shop, and they dont really seem to be worth the extra cash.
cityboyyy
my experience with them is they suck and they leak and theyre just a hassle ... get a long mya hose instead
htdsngup
I have smoked raotating hookahs since i started smoking (hookah bars). Although it flavor and atmosphere are great, i still dont like the pull and the purge messes things up. But i do think this has a lot to do with the condition the bars keep them in. Apparantly like reusing water for another customer or not cleaning them out.Infact, the one i used today i tried to purge and it was stuck so instead, water jumped INTO (from the bottom) of the bowl and ruined the shisha.Luckily it was $5 a hookah night with Romman
chris_shawn100
The hookah is different according to is making processing. Some hookah's glasses' print is made by handicrafts, these hookah may with high quality, also sales with high price. And some hookah's glasses print is made by machine,so the quality is not so good,it is shape is not so colorful. These machine made hookah is sales with low price. So man, while you purchase hookah, you can take more attention on it is craftwork. chris_shawn100
Because the producing method is different,it is hard to make a standard for hookah.Just like antique furniture, some is with high price, some is with low price. It just depend on the making method. zombiedepot
Seems ok to me, but the rotation always seems to be a bit uneven. I could see it being a potential hazard in my place.
MrMoodz
I have a rotating hookah that works great. I also have a standared Egyptian one as well as a "Stargate" Hookah that I purchased after my rotater and I prefer my rotater over all of them. It smokes great, I don't have any leakage problems, and it works well in a group setting.
Teh Owntt
That seems to be the biggest upside, is if your with friends.
skiracerj1
the ones ive smoked are terrible, they just dont smoke right, they all seem to have leak issues. I'd get a multi hose instead.

gunsboy
My stargate rotating one just stopped rotating, and the rotating part is rusted and needs oiling.. I am never buying a rotating hookah again ..It is a great solid hookah, but the rotating aspect of it is crap ..

40 Thieves
In my place rotators are a real big draw - especially when they're around a group of 3 or 4.
Teh Owntt
Its seems more like a fad than anything. People are saying "OooOoooO it rotates, so that mean I can be even MORE lazy" and then it leaks or rusts. I dont think I'm gonna get one... djnick
I have Stargate Rotator Hookah and i have none of the problems you guys are mentioning. The rotating part i dont really care about since i dont use it, pretty much everyone smoking is always setting we just pass the hoses around. It hits great its always a favorite among my hookah smokers. The only draw back is that the metal balls sometimes interfere with the draw, but only if you dont pull hard enough. Otherwise the screw on base and parts make it a perfect seal for great hits. As far as the rotating mechanism not working as well, obviously after a while it will need a little oil to get it going again just like a car or any other device that has rotating parts, since i havent used it as much i havent run into that yet but i dont see how that cant be easily fixedOh and i also think MYA is a huuuge bandwagon

htdsngup
did u try submerging the whole thing in warm water? Maybe then ull be able to take it apart easier. Also maybe some glycerine (sp?) is making it stick cuse i kno when i went to Mya, they told me to clean it after every session cause the gly. will build up and i wont be able to unscrew the stem and stuff. He also said if it doesnt come loose, u shoudnt push it cause u could strip it.
