Farida Hookahs?

Recommended Posts

]Any news on the quality of these pieces, I could not find any information on the forum. They seem very temsaah-esque and the first one also seems to have some syrian influences. Hopefully we will have another brand surfacing in the US that produces pieces of exceptional or at least reasonable quality.

Noticed these as well, little too steep on the price for me to go out on a limb and test them out. Also if they're anything like Temsaah brass in consistency/welds I do not want it at all.

I talked to Mahir one on one before and after he got these pipes and when I asked about build quality he said they far exceeded his expectations. I am interested to try one. *hinthintDOARAFFLEMAHIRhinthint*

If he were to do a raffle, I'd cheat to make sure I win. That's how much I dig this pipe.

Bravo, Mahir, for your own hookah line. Seems to take the best from Syrians and Egyptians and mash them together into an epic pipe. This particular one, at least. Truly unique. And they are priced extremely well, I'd say, considering how much KMs go for these days. I just might have to get one of these in the not-to-distant future. And that's really saying something, because I own two hookahs right now and it has to be a pretty awesome hookah for me to own a third.

;)

You should soon be seeing some reviews I am hoping. Some people have bought them that do reviews and such from what I have noticed. So be on the look out!

I hate to promote my own wares (really I do), but, they really are an excellent product. Clean welds and great workmanship. That's coming from the hookah enthusiast, not the vendor part of me. Promise.

But either way, I am really really hoping for some reviews soon, so it can give an outsiders perspective to the line. I do understand that its hard to buy something that really has no information as far as reviews.

As for the raffle idea....maybe...

That is fantastic... It's got the bulky build of an Egyptian, and the classy etchings of a Syrian.

I highly approve of the look of that pipe. Great job, Nazar Hookah.

I couldn't agree more the laser etching takes out the inconsistencies and that thing does look heavy. The only thing that geta me is price.
I haven't spent over 100$usd on any hookahs...Just to much for me. But maybe in time they will come more affordable. Still look very nice. Edited by king_lunchb0x

I like them, but I'd have to agree that most of them are almost direct copies of some of the Themsah designs, with different etchings.
Either way they are great looking pipes, but I can't justify owning more than 10 pipes at the moment.

Great job Mahir!

I just bought the Ashems from Mahir and it just came in today. Thing is SICK! I bought just the stem.

Construction is great, it is nice and straight unlike most of the temsahs we saw. Weld marks are visible but that doesn't bother me as I find it makes them look more handmade. The etchings in the top where the tray sits and on the stem are clean. Angle of hose port is perfect, wasn't dirty and didn't need an hour of cleaning like KM's always do. It is so solid yet, slim. When you hold it you say damn, 3.15 lbs. but then you step back and look at it and say huh ... it isn't bulky or anything, it is actually narrow and sleek impressive for such a heavy pipe. I put this stem on my Lattice boho and it looks wonderful. I could see many people buying this pipe to use as a travel pipe.

I will be taking pics of it in action tonight and write up a review for all of you to see. It will up sometime this week!

Heh :-)

Definitely a solid pipe that will give KM a run if they bring in more styles for sure.

I was so happy to not see a bunch of black crap inside the pipe when I got it, it barely had any junk in it. I think KM leaves their completed pipes outside or somewhere nasty in their warehouse. Every KM I have ever bought needed a solid hour to clean and ruined all my brushes. This Farida was nearly mint, needed 2 minutes of cleaning max.

Most of the KM's that aren't copper on the inside have slight surface rust on the top and bottom of the core. I highly doubt you will ever see that with these pipes unless they decide to lower QC.

Definite pick up if you can manage it. The price for just the stem is very reasonable compared to KM stems.

I also like how they have old school style to them like the temsahs, syrians, or older KM's. All the new KM's have that oxidization mumbo jumbo on it. Gimme a solid brass pipe with etchings or a clean steel/nickel plated pipe, none of this black, brown, etc. on the pipe, makes them look too new aged for me.

I would have bought more Temsahs but every one I got had a mean lean to it that made the entire pipe look cheap, the Farida is as straight as can be.

Definitely happy for sure and may buy another if other styles hit the states.

Would you add a pic of the top of the tray holder to your review?

These look similar to some pipes sold locally and I'm curious to see if they are made by the same manufacturer.

I TOTALLY agree with you. The new oxidized KM models are so trashy looking. And I hear people have taken their oxidized pipes and just scrubbed off all of it. Why would you buy one if all you're gonna do is scrub it all off? IMO, it being able to scrub off is no bueno.

I too prefer the older styles.

Thanks for the pic, Mahir! That's different from what's available here localy, although some of the components look very similar. Looks like a great, solid pipe.
