Brishen
First of all I am new to the forum. So Hi everyone nice to make your future acquaintance! Up until now I normally smoke hookah inside but I just moved into a new place that does not allow this. So I was smoking outside in the rain under an umbrella, quite pleasant hearing the rain fall and made me want to do this more often. Just looking for any solutions besides an umbrella. Tips? o and to those who are wondering I was smoking f-line melon blend with a maya hookah with a fruit punch base. Ooo any tips as well what works well with f-line melon, orange soda and apple. Any combination with mixes or base. Thanks
joytron
They are only $3 each so be sure to buy one for the hookah as well. The most stylish way to stay dry, hands-free!
Chreees
^ Lol, Jess! All I can say man is try to find cover somewhere. Build a canopy somehow if you do not have a covered balcony or porch. Or buy an extra big umbrella and fab together a weighted pole to fix the umbrella to. All I've got for now...
ntur
buy one of those pavillion/tent things that people use for tailgating, they are really easy to set up and will give you alot of cover. looks like this:
atalanta
I was going to suggest canopy also, keep an eye out for specials at Sports Authority, K-Mart, and Dick's. But you don't want one with a GA Tech logo LOL They're less than $100, often around $60. We have a covered front porch, it will be neat sitting outside in the winter watching the snow fall - thanks for the idea!

ryno
I made several homemade windcovers before out of metal ducting and such, those small umbrella looking things that go over water heaters fit on top of them well

Epoch
1 - Wait for the rain to stop. 2 - Dry off your chair. 3 - Enjoy a lovely smoke. That's my usual plan. Edited September 6, 2011 by Epoch
king_lunchb0x
welcome to the forum...i agree canopy is perfect. As for mixes and such, i actually like to mix a little mint in with melon blend. not much maybe 1/3 mint rest melon. I don't do any of the base liquids cause i know ill get lazy and forget to dump it and it will turn bad. But maybe do some orange soda...let it go flat and smoke it with orange soda hookah tobacco...?
grock
I love smoking in the rain. My friend has a huge weatherproof porch that we sit under, its like 2 stories. Enjoyed epic thunderstorms with hookah, definitely some of my more memorable sessions. Doing it in the snow sounds brilliant as well! Id just throw some snow in the base to cool it down a ton. The neighbors used to think I was crazy for grilling in the swirling snow, but now one of them does it too LOL
