ChicagoRSX
So as it stands I have 2 hoses, the standard MYA hose that came with the QT and my beloved Nammor. I have been using the Nammor exclusively since I got it. Now my question is this. I've seen many people mention how they have different hoses for different flavors. Now I have 2. What would be an advisable minimum for hoses. Is it really that big a deal to keep using the same hose if I clean it? I'm thinking it isn't but rather refer to the pro's here. Happy smoking all. joytron
I would use the nammor for all flavors and the mya for no flavors.
Chreees
I would use the nammor for all flavors and the mya for no flavors.
Lol, I agree with this. I'm no fan of Mya hoses either. What is ideal is to assign different hoses to different flavors or different flavor groups. For example, if you have a flavor that is your favorite and you smoke it a lot, dedicate a hose entirely to it. My KM Beast hose is my Indian Summer and Static Starlight hose (so basically my florals hose). For Cane Mint and when I mix Cane Mint with Cocoa, I use my Nammor custom hose. For pretty much everything else (mostly Noir flavors) I use my regular Nammor hose. The Nammors obviously I can wash and rededicate at any time, or wash and use them, then let them eventually be dedicated again to whatever they were dedicated to before. Just set up whatever system works best for you (once you get some more hoses, haha). Eric of Tangiers has his assigned by flavor group: mints, fruits, florals, etc. Same for phunnel bowls too. I believe he evens assigns his pipes to different flavor groups.
Epoch
Mint / floral / coffee leave the strongest taste in hoses in my experience.
atalanta
Sounds like the conversation from TC the other night. This is more complicated than I thought. Why can't I pick hobbies that are "easy", like collecting comic books? (been there, done that, have tons in my storage locker)
Stuie
I don't. I wash them all a lot.
ChicagoRSX
Thanks everyone. Looks like I'll just be ordering a second Nammor hose.
Hassouni
I only have one washable hose, so here's the breakdown: Elmas hose 1 committed to grape Elmas hose 2 committed to melony flavors and strawberry Ghetto Egyptian carpet hose committed to Kashmir flavors Red accented Lebanese hose for DA and other apples Blue accented Lebanese hose possibly to be committed to grape also Black accented Lebanese hose uncommitted, maybe citrus Temsaah hose ostensibly for peach but I barely smoke peach. Shitty Mya hose for salloum, zaghloul, and the like Narbish for everything else or if I can't be bothered to find one of the assigned hoses; also for a lot of Tangiers flavors All the above for mint too, because what DOESN'T mint improve?
