Serious Tobacco Research Question /health Issues

Recommended Posts

Oh? Are those in his Tangiers forum?  Did he go into detail as to why he thought so?  Interesting, I wouldnt have guessed that as being the top risk although I guess they often go somewhat hand in hand and can have some of the same causes.  Keep an eye on the ole blood pressure.

My internet speeds have been picking up a bit, been able to scour the forum better recently.  Man I had forgotten how much some of ya'll smoke here!   Last year as we were prepping for deployment, there were a lot of long, high stress days and I found myself on my balcony relaxing and smoking a lot more than normal, two or three times a week, two-five hours at a time.  I finally got a little concerned ha, felt the need to cut back.  Haha compared to some of ya'll I was taking baby steps, I think I read one dude who said he will sometimes smoke the whole day? hahaha you guys are hardcore.

No indeed.  That is one reason I need a balcony wherever I live.  Coming back from work, setting up a movie on the balcony, the ocean waves in the background as the sunsets, eating my dinner and smoking my hookah, that is ittttt!

Recently in one of Eric's videos If I remember correctly, he said it is unlikely to get lung cancer from hookah smoking, he said what you need to be concerned/keep an eye out for is cardiovascular disease.

Right..like COPD. :)

Well, considerign everything that is in our air, food, water, homes, etc..

I'm not too worried about the cancer part. The COPD part is already an issue. the extent is not evaluated yet. Next round of dr visits..joy. :)

started smoking hookah a few times a week in 2004. Never inhaled tobacco products. Been exposed to a lot of other environmental factors over the years. Everything from dust and insecticides to formaldehyde.

Just wanted you all to be aware that one day you may have trouble catching your breath or exerting yourself if you are a regular hookah smoker. Not a surprise but be aware.
