Recommended Posts

I have recently bought a box of "al wally" instant light coals. i tried to google the brand and i saw nothing on them. they do the job i guess, but when you light them up they smell so horrible. i was wondering if anybody else knows about this brand?

You'll find many people here hate quick-lights(QLs). I have personally not moved to natural coals yet due to a friends medical reason. If your going to use QL's, I personally reccomend 3 Kings Brand QL. They are regarded as probably one of the better, if not the best QL, but in the end it's whatever works for you. I can totally hear ya on the smell when lighting. Worst I ever had on that end was a brand called Holland Quick Lights.

I usually use 3 kings, but when i went to the store the lady had a sale on this so i decided to pick some up. i just wanted to know if anybody had more information on this brand because online they have nothing.

also where i live, none of the shops have natural coals. everything is quick lights here :(

Oh I understand, and I didn't mean to sound like I was "bad mouthing" ya for using quicklights, as that wasn't my intention. I personally attributed not having elevated my smoking experience enough to switch over to Nat's yet, due to the fact I picked up a box of 3 kings for like 5 dollars, so I'm working through that right now.

Where did you buy these in t.o?

I've seen these. This is the CHEAPEST QL's available. Their 3$/box wholesale.
Starlight is one better.
Then Al Fakher QL's
and 3Kings being the best--longest to Light so maybe a moderate-quick-light.
