S3cretz
Ive bought exactly 1. Use it every session and ive had it 6 years. But ive had to replace bowls like hotcakes and had alot of vases break. Replace my main smoking hookah every 5 months. I go through about 300g of tobacco a week. But 1 wind cover for six years now. I find that strange. So you guys how quickly do you go through them?
vendetta_revived
Do you really find it so strange? I mean, they are made of metal...can't exactly break them or anything?
Chreees
Yeah, why wouldn't it last the longest? And why do you replace your main hookah every 5 months? Your hookahs should be lasting way longer than that. Also, I've never broken a bowl nor vase. *knocks on wood*

Fusion
Yeah, the windcover "breaking" is unheard of to me. But aside from that, I've never broken a base or a bowl... yet Edited September 27, 2011 by Fus

Epoch
I'd have to try pretty hard to break my wind cover.
TheyCallMeDave
Well, this has been pretty much beaten more than a dead horse... But yeah, you would have to try really hard to ruin your windcover. Also, props to you for smoking hookah in your toddler age. Not many people can say the same. (please note the sarcasm). vendetta_revived
When I was 10, I used to eat these candies that came 10 in a packet shaped like a cig pack and the candies themselves were shaped and colored like cigs. And some people thought even that's a bad thing.
mushrat
I dont think ive ever had to replace a broken wind cover.
Coyote
I had one I made out of a can. yeah yeah yeah so hillbilly but psch... don't judge. It was beautiful... I painstakingly poked my own holes with a hammer and nail to make a decorative pattern. It worked fantastically. Then it was gone (along with the $100 i stuffed in the windcover)... lost in a breakup/move. It took this guy a month to give me all my stuff back... and he neglected to give my hookah and supplies back. So I had to start all over. Like sands through the hourglass... Trini
the worst thing that happened to my windcover is my dog stole it to play with and it was all bent in and covered in slobber but i just washed it off and bent it back into shape its back protecting my coals once again... Arcane
My initial reaction to this topic was, "wtf?!" But, the more I thought about it....I've actually gone through 4 "windcovers" 1. Given to my brother 2. Made out of a Monster Energy Drink Can 3. Made from aluminum foil 4. I'm currently using an extra large one now.
Skoozle
I always worry when I travel with my windcover, that that it will get crushed. Hasn't happened yet, but if it did I would probably toss it and get another. I have had my oldest one for 22 months so far.

Hassouni
The thing with using a can, aren't most cans lined with some sort of plastic?
king_lunchb0x
i almost broke my tri windcover, was drunk and stepped on it.( i leave it on the rug next to my hookah always) luckily i didn't go down with my full weight. That's about as close I have gotten to breaking one.
A lot of cans are coated in BPA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bisphenol_A) but you can find canned goods that are not coated in BPA at the natural food store. Eden foods does not use BPA.

Stuie
I did throw one away a long time ago that had some plastic lining inside it. It smelled awful, but that's the only one I have ever really had a problem with.
