Hi guys,

Long time lurker, first time poster. I live in London and I'm really stuggling to get hold of any good tobacco. I'm smoking hydro and shiazo at the moment but i miss the buss of non herbal tobacco! Do any of you know of any physical shops, or (more likely) what are the best online ones to use for shipping to england?

Alex, what part of London? Most of the shops along the Edgware Rd. have AF, Nakhla, or both, or if you're anywhere near Kingston/Putney I can point you to a Middle Eastern grocery store that keeps Nakhla.

In terms of online, it's just not cost-effective for UK hookah retailers to become licensed tobacconists, commission supplies of tobacco to be labelled to UK requirements and pay taxes of something like £80 per kilogram, so it's all a rather grey market. You may or may not find it cost-effective to import from abroad; I cannot encourage circumventing customs regulations.

I can state that I've had success in buying tobaccos from private individuals through a popular online auction site and that for small quantities of Nakhla in particular, it is likely to be your best bet. 10 x 50g packs of Nak DA for £25 delivered last time I looked, or a single 250g for £14.
