Does Tangiers Have The Highest Nicotine Level?

I was reading DrSmokes Tangiers newbie thread and it made me curiuos, does Tangiers Noir(which from my understanding is just regular Tangiers) contain the most nicotine out of all the Major hookah tobaccos? I was smoking Blue Gumball yesterday and it really hit me pretty hard. I was just curious cause from how people talk about it here, it would seem to.

I believe Desi Murli may have a little bit of a higher nicotine level in it. Can't remember for sure, and I've never tried it...

Highest allowed in the US.
DM is a different story..it's custom made so nicotine cannot be measured. (Chreees, do try it...it's amazing).
Actually, Tangiers and Nakhla both have .5%.
2 of Nakhla's 4 unflavored tobaccos do have more (Kass and Bata) they have .6% or higher. They're now banned from the USA.

I believe Tangiers noir has 0.3% nicotine.

Tangiers is somewhere between .39% and .42% traditionally. Tangiers is running lower right now, closer to .32-.35% due to this years tobacco selection. Nakhla is certainly much closer to .1-.15%.I would estimate, from the tobaccos I've tried that Tangiers has one of, if not the highest nicotine levels. The claim on the packages that the nicotine level is such and such is meaningless since the manufacturers aren't required to justify it.

Any company can roughly calculate the nicotine content based on the nicotine of the base tobacco.

There also is no nicotine limit for pipe tobaccos in the United States. An average uncased pipe tobacco would be probably 3-7 times higher than Tangiers. Some countries have limits on the nicotine content, but the US isn't one of them.

desi murli and ayam zaman have higher than Tangiers afaik. i have never had ayam zaman, just what i have heard from other people. i ALWAYS get a buzz from desi murli. however, its a very different kind of buzz, as weird as that sounds. DM initially has a large nic rush which may be a little dizzying, however, after that its an incredibly relaxing, feel good buzz. Tangiers i no longer get a noticeable buzz from(sorry Eric! guess i need to try some F-line!).

as for Nak Kass Super and Bata... if there is no nic restrictions then i honestly dont know why we arent importing it anymore. they are supposed to have a buzz stronger than any tobacco on the market.

mmmm zag and khan no foil is the shizzz. i forgot about the dirt. when i first joined here i saw several people talking about the dirt... what is it? jurak?

ok so looking at the picture on the first page. thats the logo used for desi murli. i wonder if you got the raw desi murli material, Mush. from what i know, DM is so insanely cheap because Kamal from hookah1.com gets the stuff dry and then adds everything to it. tobacco is taxed on weight when it comes to the states so obviously sending it dry prevents any glycerin or extra stuff from being taxed.

I would have to say Desi Murli or Ayam zaman has the highest nicotine content on the main market. There are Juraks that make those look weak but being able to get them in the states or basicly any where is very rare...after i type this i see that glider already pointed this out....
