They are porous rocks socked in flavorings. So maybe less chemicals?

I liked them well enough. But I only really recommend them for if hookah tobacco is highly taxed in your country or customs hits you hard when you try ordering it. This is an excellent alternative, although it is not as enjoyable as tobacco.

I found the flavor to be as enjoyable as tobacco, but that is what I smoke for, the flavor and breathing relaxation. If they wern't so expensive I'd probably switch to them strictly as they are very potent in flavor and last a long time. I think my med phunnel lasted about 4 rounds of 2 CCNs and it never got "harsh" or anything.
