Container Question

Recommended Posts

So , I realize how dumb of a question this probably is and sounds but I just am not sure...I usually buy 250g boxes of Nakhla, but in my latest order from H-S I ordered a few other brands, some of which are coming in plastic jar/containers. I have always seen these with the shisha wrapped up in something else, like light plastic or a bag. Is it standard to leave the shisha wrapped in the plastic, or to empty it out into the jar?

I have always just opened my Nakhla boxes and put that in a ziploc bag..

Ive used the jars by themselves when it comes to Al Fakher and Romman. Im sure there are other companies as well. I didnt notice any drying or anything.

Some companies use Ziplock containers when they ship it to you. I've had Nakhla shipped to me before in containers from a couple quite reputable companies.

I know it may seem shady to you, but usually its nice because you not only get a ziplock container (leaving you with no mess), but its easier for them.

Weight it out if your considerably worried that they jipped you on the amount, but otherwise it should be the same shisha.

Oh I am not worried about getting jipped, just if its fine for the shisha to be in just the tin by it self not a bag inside of a tin haha.

With tins, I put the tobacco in a bag. In a plastic tub, I just put the tobacco in the tub.

For the tobacco brands I have had that came in its own container, I use the container (metal tin, like with SB, or the plastic tub, like with AF, etc.), and just dump it right in to the container that the tobacco is packaged in. The metal tins are not airtight whatsoever, but I've had SB last months just fine. I actually have some SB Pineapple right now sitting in its metal tin. But yeah, I don't ever keep the tobaccy in the bag and then in the container that is provided.

For brands that do not come with a container, those go into a tupperware. I have about 10-15 that I reuse.
