atalanta
Now here's a weird one just to add fuel to the discussion. QLs for smoking = bad. What about starting a QL or two and then using them to start the nats? Like put them in the bottom of a holder or a tin can with holes in the bottom and then put the nats on top. Would the QL nastiness imbue the nats with ikkiness? I'm thinking of a situation when you can't do the normal gas or electric stove/coil starting method. But really, I just did not know if them being out would do anything..shorten their shelf life or something. I figured it would be easier to leave a bunch in a coal holder and just put the boxes away somewhere until I needed to refill. [/quote] Haha im just poking fun at you. They won't loose shelf life, just make sure to keep them indoors. They should keep dry and out of humidity in their box, and even if it is humid in your area they still shouldnt have too much of an issue, just a minor increase in light time. Bawhee
from personal experience (I had a bunch of short burning nats that just wouldnt last long enough to be worth it) you can piggyback a natural on a QL.
