CzhD.2u2
Hello! I'm new to smoking hookah, and I smoked part of my hookah earlier today with some friends. However, our session was cut short, and we couldn't smoke the whole bowl. How could I best preserve what is left for smoking later? Right now, the bowl is detached with foil (no holes in it) covering the top, while the bowl is inside a a small zipped up plastic bag. How long is partially burnt shisha "fresh" for? How does the quality of the shisha change over time if it's partially burnt? Thanks for any help!
Bawhee
I usually just pop the coal off the bowl and leave it on as it is until I wanna resume smoking it... It works if its not too used up
Chreees
Depends on how much later you plan on coming back to it, I'd say... With that said, I once came back to a phunnel bowl of Static Starlight about a week later that I had stored in saran wrap. Unwrapped it, stuck it on my hookah, and threw coals on. Wasn't too bad. Another thing you can do is just remove the very top cooked layer of tobacco and just replace it with fresh. I've done this many times before. A guy who used to be on these forums had a good few phunnel bowls that he would do the replacing top layer method with- Dedicated one phunnel bowl per flavor of Tangiers. He kept the same tobacco in the bottom for weeks at a time. Whenever he wanted to use one, he'd replace the top layer of tobacco and smoke. Me, personally, I'm too OCD to be leaving tobacco in my bowls for weeks.
CzhD.2u2
Thanks! I've been worried my shisha has gone bad. There's a little ray of hope now.
