Stuie
Well it was only a matter of time but H-S has released their own brand of Coconut Coals. They are flats, and they only released 16 Piece box. Great for trying out. But not great if they are really good and you wanna buy larger sizes. They are cheaper than Coco 16 piece box. (So I will definitely try them out) I just hope they make cubes in the future. Cubes > Flats!!!!

Perfect for heat management.
mustang67n
they say the larger boxes will be coming soon.. IDK about cubes tho :/ I'm interested in trying them too though, they claim (as always with their products) that these are the most superiorest Nats on the market.. we'll be the judges of that!! lol
joelhookah
I am a flats fan. I am going to try these out. Haven't been too excited with other coconut coals besides coconara though.

Zildjian
why cubes over flats? I've never had an issue with flats, and when I did use cubes I wasn't particularly thrilled with them as they died out faster for me.

CCN cubes and Cocomazayas (basically the same thing as the CCN cubes) lasted just as long as CCN flats for me. Stuie, that list is ridiculously long... Especially since there's only a handful of those I'd ever even buy now after trying so many of them.

Coyote
I like Golden Canaries... I'm just trying these cocomayaza cubes for the first time. They work very well on my medium phunnel. But I wonder since they are cubes and you can't turn them on their sides, would it increase the likelihood of burning?

They're the same on all sides, haha. I just throw mine on and don't mess with them. I may move them in a bit off the edge after a while, but that's it. I let the windcover do everything. Tom1
I didn't know people still ordered from H-S, their prices are comparable to robbery at gunpoint.
joelhookah
I think she means that on the flats you can turn them on their side to give a bit less heat, and since the cubes are the same on all sides you can turn them, but would be getting the same/more heat depending on the side.
I didn't know people still ordered from H-S, their prices are comparable to robbery at gunpoint.
have you compared their prices lately? Just a quick search of 4 vendors CCM boxes everyone is either at $14.95 or $14.99 H-S is 4 cents more expensive... Big whoop. And if you are referring to stuff you can get locally...must be nice to buy stuff locally but not all of us are that fortunate. Shisha in Texas is almost impossible to buy locally with 352% Tax on it now.

I got a cool CCN shirt last time.
