Hi! I just joined the hookah forum today. I am a doctoral student and I am researching hookah smoking. The purpose of my research is to capture the essence of the hookah smoking experience. No offense taken. I am not aware of other research taking place on this forum...maybe you can tell me where I can find it? Also, I am conducting a qualitative study so I am looking for hookah smokers' own words/descriptions regarding the experience. Providing multiple choice could lead people in particular directions based on the choices offered. Multiple choice is used when you want to find out how many people report a particular response. I am not concerned with numbers, I am concerned with descriptions. I know this makes the research more time consuming and not as simple. I'm sorry. If anyone is willing to take the time to complete the survey, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
