JDHarding
After a year, or maybe two years, I've returned to smokin the baccy. I really can't afford too much since bills are piling up, but I got a few essentials. - New hosing for a broken hose - Tangiers Green Apple Candy - Nakhla Mizo Watermelon - Box of Hookah John's coals. So far it hasn't been real great fun. Got buzzed a few times. I think I chose the wrong flavors 'cause these are a bit too sweet and fruity for me. I've pretty much forgotten my techniques to packing a good bowl, where to fill the water in the base, and so forth.

I think I may have a leak 'cause I'm not getting very big clouds. Gonna hafta investigate. Maybe I didn't put enough water in the base.

I can smoke a ton of it and it doesn't buzz the crap outta me. Damn Tangiers. Edited November 5, 2011 by JDHarding
Shifty
Figured I'll just hop on this pre-made post with a "Me also" So, yeah, I also just unpacked my Mya Pyramid after a few years in storage. I still have my Stargate, Exotica, and a bag of Red Kastle Al Hambra Olive wood. Picked up a Starbuzz Chocolate Mint last night when I made a stop-over in Philly. .....Still wish I could get me some Smiley's Wedding Cake though.. (Old timers will get, understand, and groan at the hilarity that ensued with that debacle back in the day) Shifty

JDHarding
May I ask why you stopped?
After a while of smoking, for some reason the smell and taste start to make me sick. Also, I get bored with it too. The usual day-in day-out of setting up, packing, lighting coals, smoking for 20 mins or so, getting bored with it, putting everything away only to get it all out again. It gets tedious. I'm sure in a month or maybe in a few weeks I'll get tired of it, or it'll start making me sick again. Already the Mizo watermelon smell is making me ill. That's why I figure sweet, fruity things are probably not the way to go. Maybe I'll get coffee or vanilla or something not so fruity. Cappuccino or something. ChicagoRSX
I get ya. I only smoke on the weekends so I think that is part of what keeps it so fresh and new for me. But I hope you find a happy medium so you can keep enjoying it without getting sick or burnt out.
