Jars for storage

Recommended Posts

I was just wondering if anyone has ever used these jars.I picked up a pack but have not really tested them out, they seem to seal pretty well. Doing the conversion from grams to ounces on google it seems like you will only get about 100g in there, but damn its cheap for 4 glass jars its only 3 bucks.Any ideas of something I could put in there that is similar to shisha to see if it drys out??? Nobody wants to waste shisha testing :P

"Suitable for storing herbs, spices and other kinds of dry foods"I doubt it matters if you store wet stuff, like shisha, but you might want to look for something else.

I got tired of getting the sticky shit on my fingers so I use my tongs now and wipe them off with a wet-wipe. As far as the jars, they look nice. One of the smaller "Ball" jars may work nicely too. Wider mouth and a little bigger.

yea i use these glass jars:http://www.containerstore.com/browse/Produ...77&PRODID=74412And for 50g boxes:http://www.containerstore.com/browse/Produ...PRODID=10013118I find they work wonders. They get a pretty good seal when you shut em as well :D The small ones work well for the small boxes of shisha as well :D

Go to Safeway and check out "Rubbermaid Take Alongs" in the area with the Ziploc bags and such. They are basically GladWare containers, but they have a rubber lid unlike the GladWare brittle lids. The Sandwich sized containers can hold 300gr. easily.I poke holes in the top of my containers for constant acclimation.

i use ziplock containers that a nice airtight seal to it. they can easily hold close to 500 grams of shisha as i put my 250grams in there its about halfway full. i never thought of poking holes for constant acclimation wouldnt that dry it out in the long run say you dont smoke a certain one very often?

Im a ziplock/glad tub guy myself.with the occasional ziplock back for a 50g box ot keep it from leaking. Easy to stack and find what you're lookin for.And yes, i know i have a problem.

Those jars have several issues:- They break easily if you want to bring them to a camping or road trip.- They leak moisture, if tipped or carries upside down, they are not 100% liquid tight.- If you like to use ur chubby hands to handle and separate the shisha leafs you will have a problem doing that.If you do not care about presentation, "glad tub" would do, and save u some space. But if you do then, you should get Plastic/Glass Air-Tight Jars, sometimes those come with a display/stacking rack (similar to spice racks) ..

I buy lunch meat from Oscar Meyer because it comes in free tubs of Gladware. I DO NOT WORK FOR GLADWARE OR OSCAR MEYER. ;)Right now, I've been leaving my Havana and Al Fakher tobacco in their original containers with fine results.

Polypropylene and vinyl are the only two plastics that I believe are resistant to all the chemicals in sheesha. Otherwise, they will leach chemicals out of the plastic and let you enjoy it. It makes the flavor crummy and endangers your health more than smoking the tobacco in the first place.
