anyone heard of this brand? does anyone smoke it??
I smoked a 50gr Coconut packet and it is awesome. never gets harsh and there is always plenty of smoke. i read somewhere these have alot of glycerin (is that right??). supposed to make it smoke heaps.

anyway then i flipped the packet and bam

Out of date lmao. expired 2004. will this destroy me? they tasted awesome. nothing bad. no mold or anything.

also i bought Al Fakher but not in the tubs i see floating around. it was in a flat package double apple flavor. it was disgusting. gave me a huge headache and there was no smoke at all. i thought Al Fakher was good???

I don't see how it could be that bad for you.. i mean.. worse than smoking is as it is lol

Al Fakher is good. double apple has a lot of anise flavor (like black licorice) so if thats what you tasted it was fine.

althought I have have had Al Fakher be hit and miss sometimes. no smoke? usually AF smokes like a beast. maybe the coals weren't lit all the way? hmm..

Yeah, the Syrian hookah looks pretty good. What matters is that YOU like it. :)

Lmao at that tobacco. Never heard of it, but I'm sure someone on these boards has. It seems to be just one of the many Middle Eastern brands that isn't too big. The expiration date on it may be another clue- It may have not been produced since then, hence why no one has really talked or heard about it. I wouldn't worry TOO much about it being expired, but then again... that's pretty old, haha. Much older than any tobacco I've ever smoked. I've smoked a year or two past the expiration date, but nothing more than that, and had no issues. Overall it's up to you, but if it smoked great and you didn't get sick afterwards, then I personally would smoke it. I think they put expiration dates on tobacco to "cover their asses," more or less. Meaning, you can't blame them if you get sick for smoking it and it's out of date.

The Al Fakher you picked up may very well have been fake. TONS of fake AF out there. It's always sold in the little 50g boxes or the 250g plastic tubs that are also packaged in cube-shaped boxes. The retailer you bough it from may have taken it out of the box, but not sure why they'd do that. But yes, AF is a good brand and should not have given you a headache or no flavor. As Nate said, Double Apple should be a slight apple with licorice flavor.

Well yeah, that too... but typically in a retail store setting, those are the two sizes you see.

that tobacco shouldnt do anything to you as long as it wasn't leaking or has a broken seal you are good, i've smoked 3 years past expiration date before and it was fine along with me

the AF on the right is the one i got. i weighed it and it was 80gr not 50gr.

Maybe i packed it wrong tho!!!.

I live in Cyprus and My supplier bought these syrian ones as they were screw tops (Turkish versions here didnt have it). We do not have Tax on tobacco products or accessories here. (1 pack of cigs = $2.50). the price i tell you will not be relevant to you guys but i paid about $55USD.

There are bigger ones and smaller ones. i loved the Design and the look. its relatively heavy and its brass with painted glass. Screw top is perfectly sealed so it seems to be a good quality. all screw points have rubber seals.

thanks for the replies fellas.

Well, if it looks like that, then it's most likely legit and the retailer just took it out of the box... Not sure why he/she would do that, though. Here in the United States it's illegal to tamper with the retail packaging. Mainly it is to prevent shops from opening and altering the product in any way. Places still do it though- In Dearborn, Michigan, the hookah shops there they will open up a 250g and repackage it into smaller amounts such as 50g or 100g. A guy who used to be on the forum here told me a shop he goes to in Chicago repackages Tangiers into 100g plastic containers. But yeah, all illegal... Not sure what the laws are there for it. I'm sure way more laxed.

OK so if that pipe smokes well then congrats, though it looks a lot like the ones sold to tourists all over the Middle East, which often aren't so great. Let us know.

As for the tobacco....I mean guys, the fact is even in the Middle East you RARELY see anything besides Nakhla, Fakher, and Havana. The good unknown brands will probably be packaged almost entirely in Arabic.
