So far H-S is the only company from whom I've ordered. They've had good service and I have no complaints. I look at HJ, 5Star, NH, and so forth to see who has what on sale. I really wish I'd placed the 5star order when they were having their big sale! I also shop locally for what I can, like coal.

I'll be looking around for what I can find where I can find it. I'll just stay away from the proven FAILs (like the place in Brooklyn).

Here's my thoughts.... I have nothing against H-S, nothing at all. I've ordered from them in the past, but they're not quick enough getting my stuff out the door to suit me. So I ordered most of my stuff from H-C. Then John came along and I pretty much split it between the two of them with the occasional order somewhere else. Now I just figure John will get more of my business after H-C loses it's actual physical presence in California.

I was a big fan of H-S because of location. If I order on tuesday before 4p I got my order the next day. Also, they were really quick in answering emails or chat. Now with the TX tax issue I will I have to find another site. I had dropped H-C some time ago because of ordering issues.

True, I can't imagine why anyone would want to stay in that biz for any considerable amount of time. Unless you're doing it on your own and making your own rules.

i would love to put my opinon in for buying things online but i never have, although i have browsed through all the website before seeing if there is anything that i would like but since i can just drive everywhere for my needs i do so.

But in my mind i would pay a little bit more for that better customer serivce and extra attention

Same... I'm a sucker for customer service. Little attention, handwritten notes, freebies in the box... they always get me.

yah defnitly if they treat me right and know what im talking about that is the biggest perk for going back there i used to work in customer service and i mean you need to know what they want or need to knwo about so you can keep them coming back and i am a champ in that either u know ur product and can sell it or u fail there is no middle ground on that

Everybody I know, including us hicks down here in Alabama, are very savvy shoppers when shopping online. It's trivial to compare prices, shipping, and choose the best deal. They don't care who owns which company; they just want the best deal from their point of view.

I choose by selection, price and shipping cost. But I also consider the method of shipping. How long is it going to take and how is it being shipped? I've been known to buy elsewhere if FedEx is the only option. It also will piss me off if somebody puts a small item in a large box to ship it UPS, when they could just as easily sent it USPS for less. For most things I order online I prefer doing business with a company that's close to where I live - faster and less costly shipping.

I haven't ordered from every hookah retailer online, but so far everybody I've ordered from has been first class.

I love H-S. I live in the same state, so all shipping is essentially overnight. They've been willing to work with my; my colossus' threaded sections broke (where the stem sections join together), so I asked if I could buy a few. They said, no, that was their fault for not inspecting, so they sent me four mated pairs as spares for free (both male AND female, even though male is all that broke), with no shipping charges. They've been a good vendor, and they honor our forum codes. I see no reason to order anywhere else now that they've started carrying tangiers bowls, except for crownhookah.
