gramps
Anybody notice that I ordered one and THEN posted here? But I did order only one. After the rush I'll probably order one or two more.

I could be wrong, I just didn't want you getting your hopes up.
vendetta_revived
Okay, so Alex mailed me and told me that they are back in stock. The only thing that's a problem now is that he told me that 2 small phunnels and 4 fancyhoses won't fit in a medium flat rate USPS box, and not that I don't trust him, but I just want to get a second opinion on whether that's right? Can someone help me out with that somehow?

Not wide enough (the 3-3/8" part). If it were a bit wider, it would be okay. The package would bulge and you'd end up getting two broken small phunnel bowls. [/quote] Hmmm...Chris, can you tell me how wide is the phunnel, approximately? This is interesting because I just got another mail from Alex and he said that he can fit in 2 phunnels with some tobacco without the tubs, so it's the hoses that are problematic. Skoozle
There is another medium flat rate box size: 11" X 8.5" X 5.5". That would fit the phunnels, no problem. I don't know about the fancy hoses.
vendetta_revived
I really need someone who has a few fancyhoses and a medium flat rate box to shed some light.
Skoozle
Or just the dimensions of a fancy hose. The diagonal across the bottom of the flat rate box should be about 13.9" that seems long enough for a fancy hose handle, but I've never seen one, so I dont know. Alex must be right that it's the hoses then, but I'm not sure how big those are, having never owned one.
Judy Oma
The exposed fancy hose handle is 11", and the hose will bend at about 12.5". Is this what you meant? The hose part squashes up nicely. I'm nearly positive that I could get two in a med flat rate box placing them in diagonally and tilted - mailed a few over the holidays.

You should be able to get 4 hoses in there, packed diagonally, plus a couple of bowls.
