heron25
Hi All: Don't post here much but do like to read reviews. Recently, I started receiving emails from a company called Hookah Wholesalers. I've never supplied my information to them and have never even been to their site before. Has anyone else received anything from them or is there any info on them buying/getting email addresses? Thanks in advance. Steve
mushrat
hmm...thats odd. They are overpriced as hell, i know this from when I ran Hookah Bliss. How they got your email is a different matter. Have you ever posted it in the clear on any forum or purchased anything from an online vendor?
heron25
I've only ordered hookah tobacco from Hookah Company and I've never posted it visibly on any forum. I belong to this forum and HJ's Royal Hookah. I was surprised by it. When I did the unsubscribe option from them, the only info they had on me was my email, nothing as far as my name, address, etc. Edited January 4, 2012 by heron25
mushrat
Sounds like you got harvested or sold out.
Santino
Hookah Wholesalers = Hookah-shisha.com = (now)HookahCompany Same company, different division.
mavsfan31
Hookah Wholesalers = Hookah-shisha.com = (now)HookahCompany Same company, different division.
This. Has to be some sort of mistake though I figure, because I'm subscribed to both email lists and I've never received an email from Hookah Wholesalers. mushrat
atleast you dont get the emails I do from chinese and middle eastern hookah manufactures. Not to mention off brand tobaccos and coal producers. I guess my old business is still doing the rounds of email addresses of hookah shops. Chreees
That Indonesian dude is STILL emailing me about buying palettes (sp?) of coconut coals... Guess I shouldn't have fucked with him, haha.

Weird they would contact you through HW vs H-S......
Mahir
Unless of course, what happened here is like what happens to me. On my macbook (in Mail) I have a handful of e-mail addresses for both business and personal use..... Sometimes when I send mail....thinking I sent it from Nazar Hookah -- it actually sent with my school e-mail and the other way around too. This could have happened as well. heron25
I've never had any reason to email Hookah Company. I order from them and use one email address for that purpose. Never actually communicated with anyone at HC. I purchase tobacco and charcoal maybe 1-2 times a year, so it's not even like I'm an A+ consumer for them.
