Washington DC Area Gathering

Recommended Posts

I'm new to the forum and would love to meet up with the DC/VA/MD locals at one of the local hookah bars. My fiance and I have been to the Queens Cafe on 18th street NW a couple of times and it seems like a decent place. I'm not sure what brand of tobacco they carry but it seems pleasant enough--and a bowl costs around $9 which is reasonable enough.I am open to other suggestions for places to gather but don't drive so would like something metro accessible. Any takers?Matt

Does anyone know the closest metro rail station to the Aladdin? I tried looking it up on the WMATA site but couldn't resolve the address. I'd be interested in coming down there to check the place out but I'm going to a concert Friday night so would have to come down another time.

The Prince Cafe in Adams Morgan or Georgetown has a cover of like $25. It's too expensive IMO.

Heard this is this good Hookah lounge (Chi-Cha Lounge) but it's 21 and over so I've never been there. (20 yrs old)

Did the meeting up thing ever worked? (I live in College Park, close to DC).

wow, this is an old thread....

but yeah, if these people still smoke im up for anything in the DC area. ive been to merrifield kabob a few times and there is a place called shisha lounge in sterling that is small but has good service. prince was definitely too expensive for me, i dont want to pay a $25 cover to smoke what i have in my apartment. Prince Cafe's cover is $7 per person (or was recently), actually. Not great, but not as awful as $25.

I'm also interested to know if a meet-up ever happened :-)

It's $7 everywhere like College Park but if you goto the one in Adams Morgan or Georgetown, it's $25. That's like half the price of most Hookah's itself.
